Along with the inimitable Nathan Hensley, I co-chair the Georgetown Modernities Working Group, a flexible collective of Georgetown faculty, graduate students, and DC-area scholars whose work and interests engage with the problem of “modernity,” broadly construed. The format of our meetings varies: some sessions take the form of a reading group; others involve discussion of a member’s work-in-progress; still others feature distinguished guest speakers sharing research on campus.

The 2015-206 theme of the Modernities Working Group is Modern Time.  To read more about this year’s theme and our schedule of events, click here.
